I’ve been writing drama in various forms for 25 years.

My first play THE WOLVES was produced in 1997, toured the UK and was published by Faber and Faber. I then wrote a series of successful plays for Pop-Up Children’s Theatre whilst also fulfilling commissions to BBC Radio Drama and a number of UK theatres. DARKER SHORES was produced in 2009 at Hampstead Theatre in the UK and has been presented on many occasions since.

During my career, I’ve worked as a freelance writer for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the UK’s National Theatre, the BBC and many others.

In recent years, I’ve worked in television development with my writing partner, the actor TOM GOODMAN-HILL. We’ve developed a range of new dramas, including the forthcoming TV show THE PARTICLE for Wild Mercury Productions.

Alongside my writing, I taught the PLAYWRITING course at Royal Holloway College, University of London for 10 years before building the new courses WRITING A PLAY and WRITING FOR STAGE AND SCREEN for CAPA The Global Education Network.

I’ve also taught at CENTRAL SCHOOL OF SPEECH AND DRAMA and for COLGATE UNIVERSITY in the US.  My classes are fun, exciting and have inspired students across the world. Whatever your age or experience level, I can help bring your idea to life!
